POTATO-JEL NATURAL (INCI: Distarch Phosphate) is a new COSMOS-compliant thickener with a high natural index (InO = 0,99) based on potato starch. It can be combined with other gums and hydrocolloids (preferably with xanthan gum at low dosage <0,3 %) to enhance viscosity. POTATO-JEL NATURAL is generally applicable as thickener in emulsions in combinations with (modified maize) starches like AGENAJEL to open a broad playground for product specific textures. Used in combination AGENABON or AGENANOVA natural styling products can be formulated avoiding any synthetic polymers completely.
