Unilever Acquires Paula's Choice

The US-based skincare brand Paula's Choice will become a part of Unilever.

The Group announced that it has signed a takeover agreement. Paula's Choice is said to be a pioneer of science-backed products and direct to consumer (DTC) e-commerce. For example, the brand is able to demystify the science behind skin care using content and digital tools. These include an “Ingredient Dictionary” that breaks down the research behind nearly 4,000 ingredients, and the so-called Expert Advice, a curated online hub of skin care and ingredient knowledge.
