CosmeticBusiness 2021 Is Ready For a Restart
Leipziger Messe is planning CosmeticBusiness 2021 from 20 to 21 October as a face-to-face trade fair. Preparations are underway for this year's international trade show of the cosmetics supplying industry in Munich with new inspiring services for start-ups and digital solutions to help exhibitors establish new contacts in the industry.
CosmeticBusiness 2021, initially scheduled for June, was postponed to 20 and 21 October due to the situation surrounding the corona pandemic. As the vaccination figures are now rising both in Germany and abroad, those responsible for the fair and those taking part in it are optimistic: "We expect to be able to hold trade shows in Germany again this autumn," says Project Director Ivonne Simons. The protection and hygiene concept which has already been developed for CosmeticBusiness will be regularly adapted to the pandemic situation and the general conditions.
Postponing the event until autumn 2021 was welcomed by the industry: To date, over 200 exhibitors and represented companies who will be in attendance have already registered for this year's international trade show of the cosmetics supplying industry. Around 20 new exhibitors are taking part for the first time. One in three exhibitors – as of today – is from abroad. "The positive response shows that exhibitors want the personal exchange and the face-to-face experience the trade show provides. Our customers are longing to make personal contacts again and to initiate business on-site, and we will do everything in our power to support this," explains Project Director Ivonne Simons.
New at CosmeticBusiness: Offer for Start-Ups
This year, the industry get-together has something new in store: For the first time, start-ups can present themselves in the INNOVATION CORNER, where trade show visitors can experience the innovative power of the cosmetics supplying industry. In addition to innovative business ideas from young companies, the latest developments from well-known exhibitors will also be gathered in this area in the special show SPOTLIGHT. With this offer, CosmeticBusiness helps start-ups to establish their business in the cosmetics market and to build networks.
Planning Tool for Targeted Contact Mediation
From ingredients to manufacturing and packaging – solutions along the entire value chain will be on display at CosmeticBusiness. At the trade show at MOC Munich, the cosmetics supplying industry will network with its customers to develop and coordinate new cosmetics projects. In the future, CosmeticBusiness will promote and facilitate the mediation of contacts within the industry even more: Even in the run-up to the trade show, visitors and exhibitors can arrange meetings online using a new planning tool – so discussions at CosmeticBusiness can be even more targeted.
Still a Few Stand Spaces Available, Free Visitor Registration
Companies that would like to present their latest developments and innovations to decision-makers from the cosmetics industry at CosmeticBusiness 2021 have to register until the end of May. Only 30 booths are still available for this year's international trade show of the cosmetics supplying industry.
Registration for trade visitors will be open on the CosmeticBusiness website from the beginning of June. Early birds can register for the trade show free of charge until the end of July and secure their free ticket.
Digital Alternative Up Our Sleeve
If, contrary to expectations, CosmeticBusiness in October cannot be held as a face-to-face trade show due to the pandemic, the organisers are prepared. In this case, a concept for a digital event already prepared by Leipziger Messe will be used, which provides for the virtual presentation of products and innovations, exchange via online meetings and streaming of contributions from the specialist programme.
