CosmeticBusiness 2020: Sustainable Inspiration for Product Development
This year's CosmeticBusiness will once again be packed full of fresh ideas for the development and conception of innovative cosmetic products. Over 400 exhibitors and represented companies will showcase novel solutions that span the entire value chain in the cosmetics industry - from ingredients to manufacturing to packaging. Cosmetics manufacturers will find the MOC Mu-nich full of inspiration for all aspects of their future cosmetic products, all concentrated in four exhibition halls.
"CosmeticBusiness's diverse range of exhibits and unique concept make it the most important source of inspiration for cosmetics companies and their suppliers in the German-speaking area. In these current times when people are returning to and pur-suing more sustainable product concepts, exchange within the industry is more im-portant than ever. Our trade fair is an invaluable meeting place and trend barometer for decision-makers and is a crucial date in the calendar of Europe's largest cosmet-ics market. This is where the future of the industry is determined", explains Markus Geisenberger, Chief Executive Officer of Leipziger Messe.
Over 400 exhibitors and represented companies are presenting inspiring ideas for tomorrow's cosmetic products at CosmeticBusiness. More than 40 new exhibitors will be showcasing their innovations for the first time in Munich. The trade fair will also once again demonstrate its international character: 36 per cent of the currently registered exhibitors are from abroad. So far companies from 20 different countries have signed up. The majority of these international exhibitors are from France, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland and Switzerland.
Made Simple: Turning Trends into Successful Products
"CosmeticBusiness is the ideal spot to gain a comprehensive overview of the mar-ket, to discover innovative new products and therefore to gather fresh inspiration for product development", says Project Director Ivonne Simons. "'Turn trends into busi-ness' is CosmeticBusiness's motto for June, as a visit to the show offers tons of op-portunities to quickly turn trends into tangible success for new products. By bringing the entire cosmetics supplying industry together in one place, new ideas can be co-ordinated at a holistic level".
Extensive knowledge on trends and developments, as well as best-practice exam-ples for contemporary topics in the industry, also await visitors in the accompanying conference programme, which will be available to view on the CosmeticBusiness website as of April.
New and Exclusive: Trend Insights for the Cosmetics Industry
CosmeticBusiness is constantly evolving. As part of this year's event, trend infor-mation for the year 2021 and beyond will be published for the first time. This is ex-clusively available at CosmeticBusiness and will be updated annually.
In the trend information, several themes are presented in a folder with colour charts. This is a valuable tool for product development and is also intended as a point of ref-erence during the trade fair.
Comprehensive Yet Individual: Find the Perfect Solution Easily
CosmeticBusiness is unparalleled, in that it brings the cosmetics industry into contact with over 400 suppliers. Visitors can use the online exhibitor directory on the event's website to filter this wide range of offerings in the run-up to the trade fair.
The special show SPOTLIGHT is particularly useful for orientation. Innovations and new products from exhibitors will be prominently displayed in Hall 1.
Sustainable, Innovative or Colourful: Theme Routes Highlight Focal Points
Important topics such as sustainability, premium products or colour cosmetics are made easily accessible by means of several theme routes. Project Director Ivonne Simons gives an example: "Sustainability is currently a very critical and challenging topic for the industry. For this reason, this year's CosmeticBusiness will put it in focus using the special 'Green Route'."
Exhibitors can be included in the "Green Route" by offering product solutions to help consumers become even more sustainable, resource-efficient or environmentally friendly. Examples include environmentally-friendly raw materials and packaging solutions or manufacturing processes.
On the "Innovation Route", exhibitors can present new and innovative products. Along the "Premium Route", exhibitors will display selected ingredients, exclusive recipes and sophisticated packaging solutions. The new "Colour Route" makes it even simpler to find colour cosmetic offers.
Visitors can use the online exhibitor directory and the on-site trade show guide to follow the theme routes.
Distributors Lounge: Target Sales Partners for New Markets
The Distributors Lounge will once again be an attraction. The meeting area in Hall 4 is primarily aimed at cosmetics brands looking for distributors to market their goods. Matchmaking sessions on the first day of the trade show give visitors the opportunity to forge new and targeted business contacts. Brands and distributors can sign up for the matchmaking session for free on the CosmeticBusiness website.
Free Online Visitor Registration Starting in February
Registration will be open to trade visitors on the event website starting 4 February. Early birds can secure their free-of-charge ticket by booking their trade show ticket before the end of March.
In 2019, 449 exhibitors and represented companies from Germany and abroad presented themselves at CosmeticBusiness, the international trade fair of the cosmetics supplying industry. CosmeticBusiness is the only international trade fair in Europe where the cosmetics industry meets exclusively with its suppliers and finds solutions for the development of all cosmetic products from active ingredients to manufacture and packaging. As the only in-dustry meeting place in Germany, the largest cosmetics market in Europe, the B2B trade fair exhibition is an indispensable trend barometer for decision-makers from management, product management and development, marketing, as well as purchasing and production. CosmeticBusiness 2020 will be held from 17 to 18 June at MOC Munich.
